Her career began on the installation side of the industry, where she founded, built, acquired, and successfully sold multiple businesses. This hands-on commercial journey across both operational delivery and strategic leadership gives Melanie an exceptionally rare vantage point, she understands the industry from the ground up, from engineering requirements and compliance frameworks to supplier relations, customer experience, and financial performance.
Melanie later transitioned into the distribution landscape, where her impact was immediate. As Sales Director at Mayflex, she played a central role in accelerating product performance, launching new divisions, and strengthening key partner channels.
She then joined COP UK, taking on a commercial challenge that required leadership, clarity, and momentum. Melanie overhauled sales strategy, embedded proactive KPIs, re-energised teams, and aligned commercial objectives to opportunity ultimately doubling the size of the business in a short timescale. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered revenue growth, operational efficiency, and the development of high-performing teams capable of scaling with demand. With a technical foundation in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Johnathan brings a rare blend of hands-on product expertise and high-level commercial insight.
